Guide
Live2D-style rigging on Linux
Live2D Cubism Editor runs on Windows and macOS, not Linux. Ayatsuri2D is a free, open-source rigging editor that runs natively on Linux, opens Cubism .cmo3 projects and moc3 bundles, and exports moc3.
Install on Linux
Ayatsuri2D ships for Linux as an AppImage, a .deb, an .rpm and a tarball, all on the download page. It is a native app, built in Rust, with no Wine or virtual machine in between.
Keep your Cubism work
- Open a
.cmo3project from Cubism Editor and keep rigging it, with its names, folders, deformers and keyforms. - Open a
.moc3bundle you or someone else exported. - Export moc3 3.0 to 5.3, with model3, physics3, motion3 and exp3, for VTube Studio and other apps built for Cubism models.
From art to a moving model
Open a PSD, Krita or Clip Studio file and follow Your first model from a PSD, or start from the documentation.
