Glue

Glue stitches the edges of two overlapping meshes together so they don't tear apart when they bend: a neck into a head, a sleeve into an arm.

  1. Line the two meshes' points up (copy and paste points in Mesh Edit makes this easy).
  2. Select both meshes and pick the Glue tool.
  3. Select the overlapping points and Bind (Ctrl+G). Unbind is Ctrl+Shift+G.

Weights

The weight brush decides which mesh gives way at each pair:

  • A:B balances the two
  • A or B pulls toward one side
  • Re-merge snaps pairs back together

Hold B and drag, or [ and ], to size the brush. Each stroke is one undo step.

Select a glue tag on the canvas and press Delete to remove it.
