Parameters and keyforms
A parameter is a slider (Angle X, Eye L Open, Mouth Open). An object bound to a parameter has keys on it, and a keyform at each key: the shape it has there. Between keys, the shapes blend.
Keys
- Add keys from the parameter's menu (two or three keys at once).
- Move the slider onto a key, then edit: the change lands in that keyform.
- Between keys you can look but not edit; the Deform Brush offers to snap you onto the nearest keys.
- Keys show as dots on each slider.
The palette
- Folders group parameters; parameter pairs (like Angle X/Y) show as a 2D pad.
- Ctrl+click and Shift+click select several parameters, for example to group them into a folder.
- Ctrl+1 resets every parameter to its default.
Tools
| Four corner forms (Ctrl+4) | fills the corners of a 2D pair from its edges |
| Reflect | mirrors the key under the slider into the opposite key, asking before it overwrites |
| Motion mirroring | flips a parameter's motion |
| Copy / Paste form (Ctrl+Shift+C / V) | copies an object's shape and pastes it into another key |
Opacity
Properties > Opacity sets the opacity in the keyform the parameters sit on: put the parameters on a key, set it, and the model fades between keys. A deformer's opacity fades everything under it.
Deleting a parameter
If it's still in use, Ayatsuri asks to unbind it everywhere, keeping each object's default shape, as one undo step.
